Dear Taylorville CUSD 3 Stakeholder:
The Taylorville CUSD 3 Board of Education is conducting a search for a permanent
superintendent who will start on July 1, 2024. The selection of a new superintendent is
probably the most important decision a Board will make; therefore, the Board has
enlisted the Illinois Association of School Boards’ (IASB) Executive Searches team to
assist in this process.
The Board of Education is seeking everyone’s input as they develop an “ideal
candidate” profile which will identify the skills, expertise, and experiences
desired in the next superintendent.
The Board invites and encourages all staff, parents/guardians, and community
members to complete a brief online survey provided by the IASB.
The results will be tallied and used by the Board and Screening Team to develop a
brochure to advertise the position.
All survey responses and comments will remain anonymous.
