Miss Bitschenauer’s class has been researching different types of frogs and toads in class after learning the frog life cycle. Students made a slideshow with facts of their frog or toad assigned to them to present to the class. They got to learn how to include pictures in google slides and search the internet in a kid friendly way!

The TJHS Student Council would like to thank everyone who participated in the Land of Lincoln Honor Flight fundraiser. The goal was to raise $500, and they were able to raise $550 for this very worthy cause. Students in geography and history classes also made cards that will be shared with the veterans returning on the Honor Flight. Pictured are gift card winners.

2nd graders in Miss Thomason's and Mrs. Phares's class used a new AR app today to work on spelling. The students used Catchy Words AR to pop bubbles full of letters and then caught them and placed them in the correct boxes to spell words. It was a super fun and active way to practice spelling!

American Lung Association Fight for Air Climb was completed by two of our school nurses, Jenny Moats and Susie McClure. Our schools also raised nearly $4000 to help with ALA's fight to defeat 🫁 lung cancer.

Mrs. Foil’s 7th grade Geography class is learning about Latin America, specifically Mexico. Students are working on an activity about Mexico’s pollution issue. They are citing text evidence to answer questions pertaining to the activity. Students will brainstorm some solutions then read about what Mexico is doing to help the problem.
